After a good night sleep and feeling quite adjusted to the time change we headed out for a swim at the local pool. It was only 25m and was very crowded. This is ok for me, i was even faster than someone in our lane but a little frustrating for DB. We then headed to the beach. It is a bit cool and windy today and the beach looks pretty yucky. They even have permanent wind breaks on the beach,  makes me think it is a regular occurrence. Low tide showed that we will have a gutter to swim through then run on the bank and then swim again. So will make competition interesting. Lucky we have been practicing in the choppy weather. There was a little bit bigger wave today but still quite small. We are planning on a rest for the remainder of today. Believe it or not. Maybe DB’s finally learned a new word. Yay!
