Tumby Bay to Port Lincoln, Eyre Peninsula SA

What a peaceful night and great decision we made last night. The wind howled for a lot of the night and it was really lovely to have a little space out of the elements. Yay team, for making a good decision in time.

We started the day with a walk around the tiny town of Tumby Bay. We did a tour of the street art which was quite amazing. This took us 1.5 hours and was really great and we also enjoyed the walk along the foreshore as well.

Next stop was on the way out of town at a large silo mural. This was quite amazing.

Then on to Port Lincoln where we did some groceries, went to the movies and later went for another walk around the bay.

It was a lovely relaxing day.

: This was to be our swimming pool today but unfortunately the wind was too cold. So instead we just went for a walk..

: ..along the foreshore there was a great cycle/walkway..

: ..with some great street art..

: ..a lovely playground.

: We then followed the street art trail..

: ..which was really amazing..

: ..it is great for the towns tourism..

: ..as they are all marked on the map..

: ..and will bring people in to town..

: ..I am amazed at how good they are..

: A nice little church in town.

: Silo Art is a big thing now, there is also many of these popping up in country towns in SA and Victoria as well.

: Along the road from Tumby Bay, the countryside was very beautiful..

: ..the wheat was all in different stages of production/growth.

: Our afternoon at Port Lincoln was spent relaxing at the movies..

: ..Anyone of our age and older should see this movie. It was great. Even second time around for me.

: Tonight’s campground, another beautiful spot on the water at Port Lincoln Tourist Park.
