Port Douglas, QLD again

Thursday 16th September 2021
Well we were heading on our way today (Thursday) but after checking out of our resort apartment, a swim and some housekeeping duties, some lunch in the park with the backpackers, yet again, I received a phone call to say that the snorkel tour I had hoped to do today was going tomorrow. So with much deliberation due to cost as well as DB not keen, I finally decided it was something I really wanted to do. So I booked it in and David was happy with that. So we decided to stay in the Tropic Breeze Caravan Park in Port Douglas town centre, as we had already checked out of The Oaks this morning and this meant I could walk to the tour at 7.30am in the morning without DB having to get up, pack up the tent to take me. Well this park was the squeeziest yet, it was like packing in sardines tighter than you could possibly imagine. Some sites had nowhere for their car. Anyway, lucky we are only a car footprint so this gave us a little space on one side. The noise wasn’t too bad though considering the number of people.
