A little trip to Port Pirie to restock and refuel. Ouch! This one really hurt. The most expensive petrol in 2018 was $2.15 on the Gibb River Rd and on our Simpson Desert trip last year was $2.27 at Mt Dare. Both these places were in the middle of nowhere. It hurts that we are almost paying that price every time we buy fuel.
