We intended travelling to Wallanthery via the National Park along Lachlan River Road. Our maps contradicted each other. One showed bitumen, the other dirt. We thought we would have a quick look as the dirt supposedly wasn’t too far along, if it was dirt at all. Unfortunately for us it was dirt, so with the wet roads we backtracked to the main road.
